About Me

Hi!

I am a Master's student studying Physics and Maths at IISER Bhopal. I am a part of the strings@IISERB group.

A passion for pure mathematics and a curiosity for theoretical physics has lead me to explore the intersection of both of these domains. I enjoy working on problems in physical mathematics (number theory, topology, and geometry in physics) – particularly in quantum field theories, supersymmetry and string theory.

A few interesting projects that I am currently working:

  • Mock modular forms in partition functions of black holes in string theory, particularly in the context of CHL orbifolds.

  • Supersymmetric boundary conditions for higher spin gravity in \(AdS_3\) and its geometric description in terms of Fermi droplets.

You can read more about my research here.

Feel welcome to contact me by email at vedant@live.in.
